UG Services Terms
Please review the scope, disclaimers, refund policy, and limits that apply to all UG Services engagements.
1. Service Scope
UG Services by Universal Gates provides commercial supplier review, quote/sample coordination, and China-side procurement support for buyers working with Chinese suppliers.
2. No Guarantee
Universal Gates does not guarantee supplier safety, supplier performance, product quality, factory status, legal compliance, product compliance, payment security, or shipment outcome.
3. Not Legal Due Diligence
The services are commercial review and procurement support services only. They are not legal due diligence, legal opinion, credit insurance, financial guarantee, product certification, lab testing, or formal compliance approval.
4. Refund Policy
Service fees are non-refundable once Universal Gates begins review, supplier communication, RFQ work, sample coordination, or project management. If Universal Gates determines before work begins that the request is outside service scope, Universal Gates may reject the order and issue a refund.
5. Not Included Unless Separately Quoted
- Legal due diligence or legal opinion
- Credit insurance or payment guarantee
- Product compliance certification or lab testing
- Full QC inspection unless separately arranged
- Factory audit unless separately arranged
- Sample cost, domestic courier, international courier, customs duties, or taxes
- Supplier performance guarantee
6. Buyer Responsibility
Buyer is responsible for final supplier selection, payment decisions, product compliance requirements, import requirements, destination-market regulations, and commercial decisions.
7. Start of Work
Service delivery begins only after payment and complete intake details/documents are received.
